Snoring

Kevin Caldbeck

  • About half of all adults snore occasionally and one in four adults snores regularly.
  • Snoring is 2 to 3 times more common among men than among women.

More than 300 devices are registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as cures for snoring.

Snoring can cause numerious problems for the sufferer, and not just for the sufferer but for those around the.  Many times the chronic snorer will, avoid situatuations which will contain un-familiar sleeping arangdments

Many theories for home remidies are inexistence wirh many proving to have good results.  Even more tratments are available that are a little more un-orthadox. And lastly  there is a visit to a Specialist who might suggest surgery.

Some of the things that can contribute to Snoring are:

  • Smoking
  • Being Overweight
  • Certain Foods
  • Timing of eating foods
  • Sleeping Position
  • Alcohol
  • Laser Surgery as a treatment

Some Common Links to Snoring:

  • Heredity
  • Gaining weight
  • Getting older
  • Alcohol
  • Sex
  • Nasal deformities
  • Smoking
  • Medications
  • Sleeping with a soft pillow
  • Allergies

So, you’ve learned that you can’t smoke. You can’t drink. There is a limit on when you should have your last intake of food, and many of those foods you enjoy you shouldn’t eat anymore. The list of snore friendly foods is pretty small and most of them are things to add to your meal not main courses.  You ask yourself is it really worth making all these changes just to stop snoring?  The answer should be a resounding yes. Snoring is not healthy for you or your sleep-deprived partner.
