grabs you, grab your water bottle and take a few sips or take 5 minutes to do some deep breathing exercises. Attend
support groups or find a group online that has people your age who are also quitting. Being able to chat about your
experiences with others going through similar situations can really be a satisfying and freeing experience. Keep
busy doing activities that you normally might do or find a hobby to occupy your mind and time. Reward yourself for
each temptation you successfully avoid like doing something fun for you, reading a favorite book, listening to some

that they all travel in packs! Keep your support groups close to you for the first few days and offer them bribes
if you have to so that they will remain positive and not non-judgmental. Find out all you can about what it may be
like when going through withdrawal and plan on how you will survive all that may happen. In other words come
prepared for battle on days one through day four.
