The use of conventional drugs takes a toll on the body because of the many side effects.  Conventional drugs can stop working if the virus becomes resistant to those drugs.  An advantage to using homeopathic treatment is they can begin immediately when a patient starts displaying symptoms of opportunistic infections.

Among the different methods of treatment for HIV or AIDs, Homeopathy has a history for success in treating infectious diseases.  Many of the most fatal infections have successfully been treated with homeopathic treatment.  History shows patients treated with this natural therapy had lower death rates from diseases like scarlet fever, pneumonia, typhoid, and cholera.  Hospitals, prisons, and insane asylums experienced high success rates in treating patients with these diseases with homeopathic treatments.  Homeopathic medicine is now being used to treat viral infections in the world today.

Homeopathic treatments improve the body’s own defenses.  In laboratory tests, eight of ten viruses were inhibited by 50 to 100 percent.  With similar studies, scientists found no significant effect on viral infections.  The complexity of the issue would suggest that finding the right homeopathic medicines to use together would be useful in treating viral infections, and would be another good AIDs reversal tips.

The signs of symptoms of AIDS or HIV are different depending on what stage the infection is in. When a person is first infected they may have flu-like symptoms and swollen lymph nodes but recover quickly. This flu-like sickness may occur two to six weeks after being infected and is not always associated with the possibility of HIV infection. Even if you do not have any of these symptoms until years later, you can still infect other people with the virus. Once your body is invaded with the HIV or AIDS virus, your immune system is under attack. Even though you may not be having any symptoms, you can still pass the disease on to another person. In one case homeopathic treatment was given to an AIDS patient with the late stage of AIDS.  He was so sick that he developed AIDS-induced dementia.  After refusing all conventional drugs a San Francisco doctor and instead had acupuncture, homeopathic medicines, and natural herbs.  Today, the patient is healthy and has no signs of dementia.  He has not had any opportunistic infections in several years.  This is one case where homeopathic medicine helped with a late stage AIDS patient.  As with all of the different methods of treatment for HIV or AIDs, the results will vary with each patient.

Patients using homeopathic medicine will normally develop a fever after taking the medication.  Homeopaths agree the fever is a helpful part of the response to the medicine and should not be suppressed.  Fever is a response to infection and using homeopathic treatment and medicines encourage this body response. 

Homeopathic medicine is another form of alternative treatment plans that are available to the AIDS patient.  Many doctors who treat AIDS patients have had success with combining conventional and homeopathic medicines.  Alternative methods of treatment are becoming more accepted in the medical world especially for patients with AIDS.  The conventional medical world should not ignore these alternative ways of treatment.  Patients with AIDS may insist on trying other methods of treatment while still taking conventional AIDS drugs.  Alternative treatments have been proven to give some patients a better quality of life while being treated for AIDS.
